Hi everyone! Just a quick share today- one of the last remaining Valentine's Day cards. I made this with some older Cosmo Cricket papers (Hello Sunshine), a chipboard heart button, and some pink ribbon from Target. I also added some pink dots from Hobby Lobby to balance out the card.
I'm having a bit of a frustrating day... I just spent $40 on supplies to make a light box, and the results are the same or worse than the pictures I've been taking. Sigh. I don't know my way around photography, but I want to be able to take clear, bright pictures of my cards. If anyone has any tips, please feel free to share them! Here are a couple of pictures of what Chris put together for me:
We got nice lightbulbs, and Chris tried to diffuse the light a bit, then he tried playing with the camera settings, but the pictures are still coming out funky. I don't know what else to do, but I know trying to think about it while I'm frustrated isn't going to help. I was hoping to be in a better mood today because I should be excited about my first post with Woodware tomorrow, but even that is a problem- I can't log in to the yahoo group where we post pictures! I'm feeling like "when it rains, it pours", but hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoy my plain and simple card. :)

Hi Suzanne! Love your sweet card for today! Do you have an Ott Lite? Try shining it into the light box too. You may just need more light. I think your pix come out just fine. Have a great day! {hugs}
What a wonderful card suzanne! LOve the colors you've got going here. I'm pretty clueless as far as the light box goes.....but the few I've seen in blogland have a sheer white cloth between the lightbulb and the inside of the box (help to diffuse the light I think?
