Thanks for your kindness

Hi there!  Just wanted to show you all this set of cards I made for the counselors and me to give to everyone who celebrated counselors' week with us- we got a lot of yummy goodies! :)  Lately I've really been trying to use what I have, instead of leaning towards my hoarding tendencies!  I've had this lone piece of light blue Colorbok cardstock just hanging out in the package, practically begging to fulfill its card-making destiny, so I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to use it up! :)  I wanted to keep the cards from being too feminine, as three of the cards were going to male co-workers, so I went through some old K&Co papers and thought the brown paper would work well.  The layout didn't turn out as planned, so the other K&Co paper isn't as visible as it was supposed to be, but it ties in the wide olive green ribbon, which I picked up on after-Christmas clearance at Target.  I used some of my new Colorbox inks (creamy brown and dark brown) with Melissa Frances stamps on Colorbok tags, and added a white eyelet to make sure the ribbon didn't tear the tag.  I really miss mass-producing cards, but I'm not sure if I'm going to do craft shows this year.  It's something I really have to think about, because it takes up so much of my time and because I didn't make too much of a profit from it, but I really enjoyed doing it.  I guess I'll just have to wait and see how I feel when I start seeing vendor applications again! :)  I'm off to spend the day with my boyfriend; I hope you're all having a great weekend!

Awesome cards Suzanne, perfect for girl or boy! I hope things work out for you with the craft shows. Maybe it was just the bad economy this past year but I bet things will be better this year, your cards are so cute! I haven't done any craft shows yet, maybe I'll do a small local one but probably not until next year as I know how time consuming it will be and I won't have time to do much this year because of the house, moving and way too much to do.

Love em' love the label and the colors. I'm sure they were all appreciated. You're always so darn thoughtful. You have all your co workers spolied.
I hope you had fun spening the day with your boyfriend.
