Basic Grey: Eva

A big shout out to Kim Kesti for this post. I won one of her challenges a while ago, and she sent me some goodies- Making Memories Tiny Alphas, a 6x6 pad of Basic Grey Eva papers and a special issue of a PaperCrafts magazine. Naturally, I had to use some of the papers she sent me to make the thank you card! :) Everything except the grey Big Lots cardstock is from the Eva line. The sentiment piece and the swirly chipboard are both Melissa Frances and the clear glitter flowers are Making Memories. I covered the chipboard with some Fun Flock for some fun texture, and also because the chipboard had a small blemish (I'm a sneaky pete!) :)

I took this picture early one morning in a spot where the sunlight came streaming in, but the card still doesn't look bright (I lightened it up a bit on my computer)! I don't know what I'm doing wrong- please let me know if you have any tips! :) Hope you enjoy this card and thanks for stopping by!

Great card Suzanne! and congratulations on your big win!! : )

Do you have the option of setting your "white balance" on your camera?? read your manual it might help you with your lighting issues : ) but for this card, at least, it looks very bright and nice! : )

Beautiful card Suzanne! I love the glitter flower and the chipboard. What a great idea to put flocking on it, something I have not ventured into yet, is it easy to use? I think the photo turned out great.

Lucky me! I have this card hanging on the board above my desk! Sweet.
Thanks for playing along. Kim

This is beautiful! I love the big flourish...clever of you to flock it to hide the blemish!
