My exciting news!!!

Good morning everyone!  I'm back today to share with you my super exciting news... I was invited to join the Woodware USA Design Team, and today is my official start date!!!  You may remember my post gushing about them back in July when I first used their stamps, so I'm just thrilled to be working (for my first design team!) with a company I truly adore.  They have tons of fabulous clear stamps, and of course you know by now my favorite little guy is Teddy!  I should be getting a new Teddy set in a couple of days.. I can't wait to make some spring projects with him! ;)

Although my official start date is today, when I mentioned that I had my entry all ready to go for Monday's challenge to make anything but a card, Nancy told me to send her a picture and she would post it along with the rest of the girls.  It's a terrible picture because I took it late at night, but I'll share it with you for now so you get the idea.  I'll take another picture when it's light out! :)

I knew I wanted to make more address labels, but I had a bit of a tough time figuring out which image to use since the space was only so big.  I kept looking and looking through my Woodware stamp sets, and it finally dawned on me that I should pull out the fruit pieces from Sweet Tooth and use 3 different images (not just 1, like I had originally planned.  Duh!)  :)  I stamped these little guys randomly on some pre-printed Avery labels and colored them with my Copics.  I'm happy to say that the Copics don't tend to bleed on the labels.  This is such a quick and easy project, and I love that you can customize it to whatever you need!  I've been having a blast creating my own labels for holidays, but these juicy gems are perfect for any time of year!  I'm salivating already!  LOL

I hope you'll take some time to play along with us!  We'd love to see your project, and of course you'll be entered in the monthly drawing!  Who doesn't love free stuff!?  If you're interested in ordering, you can check out Woodware's Spring 2011 collection HERE.  I'm also going to ask about the convention schedule, because that's where I stumbled across Woodware.  ;)

I'm off for a snow day today (and probably tomorrow too!), so I'm going to spend the day finishing up my Valentine's Day projects.  I can't believe I'm finishing so early, but I'm loving that tall stack of Valentines waiting to be mailed out!  ;)  Have a GREAT day!!
